Character purpose: Nicole is again the main character in the film, she's the young girl that wonders out of her house and out of the sight of her mother which again leads in her being kidnapped, the consequences are later shown. After her younger self being tortured she is left helpless which this then allows her to develop a multi personality disorder. The new side to her personality that is seeking vengeance for her kidnapper manages to kill him.
