EQUIPMENT THAT WE WILL BE USING WHEN FILMING

title research-nightmare on elm street alternate opening.

In the research for title styles, we came across this video (above) and really liked the quick cutting of different shots and the way the titles were presented through the use of chalk written on a childs playground.
This has inspired us with the making of our title sequence.

CHARACTER PROFILE; PEYTON DAVIS

Character Profile

PEYTON DAVIS

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Occupation: Student

Traits/Personality: Has two sides to her personality. One is friendly, caring, considers herself as a social/popular girl who is close to her family and friends. She has many hobbies including a keen interest in acting which also can reflect her more dramatic side.
Peyton has a “split personality”, however she is unaware of what she becomes when she changes. One this hand, she is a violent, aggressive angry person who will stop at nothing to get her own way. Although she can change to this violent girl, she is unaware and has no recollection of her actions during and after her rampage. (could say its a form of memory loss)

What they do in the narrative: Payton wakes up in an unknown place (abandoned factory) tied and trapped with weapons surrounding her, also the dead bodies of her mother, best friend and ex-fling. She attempts to remember how she got there and how she became trapped, the idea is her ex-boyfriend did it, in a act of revenge for not staying faithful to him, (ex-fling: because he was the one she cheated on him with, mother: because she didn’t approve of him, best friend: to hurt her). However the flashbacks prove disturbing material as it shows herself killing them, and tying herself up. She tries to believe her ex-boyfriend did it, however the graphic images stay fixed in her mind.
